My writing exercises

Blog info

This is my english blog, not exact equivalent for my persian blog.
it's just started for exercise. Maybe, later for diary.

Dear Mr. Beckham,

Given the school trip and the invitation of some parents to join this group, I want to say that I am enthusiastic and volunteer to be with you and the children. Also, my sons, Ali and Omid, really want me to join them and their friends.

Since this is a trip to the mountain-forest camp, I think my experiences and skills can be useful if needed.
Not only it is my personal passion, but also, I am a certified rescuer and a professional mountaineer.

In order to be more helpful during this trip I would like to teach some and practical skills to children. The first thing that I would like to teach is How to tie the rope while they are climbing mountain. The second activity would be Astronomical and navigational tasks. I mean they will learn how to find the north star. And finally

What is more, I have experience in guiding or managing children in crowded camps, by playing some outdoor games, such as dodgeball.

I would like to know what facilities the camp has, and what the main programs in this three-day camp are? What about transportation, can I drive my own car to the camp? Because it’s my teaching assistance.

I hope I can join you.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Kind regards,

David Benethon

Comparing Iran’s and Japan’s education system

By law, in Iran children have to go to school from the age of 7 to 18. But in Japan from the age 5 to 17.
In Iran, education is divided into four grades. The 1st, 2nd elementary and high-school, each one takes 3 years, totally 12 years of education. Also, there is an optional one-year pre-elementary for children at the age of 6. In contrast, Japan’s education system has 3 grades. A four-year step, elementary-school, a three-year junior high-school, and finally a five-year high-school.

There is another difference, single-sex and mixed-sex schools (co-education)
In Iran all schools before university are single-sex schools, whereas Japan's schools are mixed in all years except in last year of high school.

In both country it's compulsory to pass a country-wide exam, for entering university.
In the same way there is same culture and discipline, especially in interaction between students and their teachers. Though in Japan it's more rigid and traditional.

Dear Hosein,
I am Meysam Hooshmand, hope you remember me.

If it is not familiar enough for your, so let me remind you of our junior high-school for three years and also in Taekwondo classes. Can you remember that weekly Quran sessions? Yeah, that’s right. I am sure you remembered those sessions.

So, what’s happened? When you and your family moved to Neyshaboor, we lost connection, because of lack of communication ways, otherwise we were close friends. Honestly, I was lazy to write a letter.

Now, I am glad that I’ve found you in this web site.

Let me tell about myself, I finished high-school and after that I studied Software Engineering at university. Now I hold B.S and M.S in Software Engineering. Fortunately, I’ve been working for a big IT company with two branches in Tehran and headquarter in Mashhad, I develop software as a senior engineer.
Also, I am still single, but I hope I can meet ideal partner soon.

What about you? Are you and your family fine? How about your sweet younger brother? Have you got married and got any children? Don’t be angry!  You know, these are common questions from any single person. I can remember that you were crazy about Physician, have you become a doctor or …?

As I said the company is in Tehran and Mashhad, that’s why I travel to Mashhad twice a month, so I would like to have a meet with you in Mashhad or even in Neyshaboor.

Let’s meet and keep in touch.

I am waiting for your response.

Best wishes,
David Beckham

Covering great sports events, or taking other measures,
these two way of thinking about motivating adults for doing more exercise.

As I remember time of Olympics or World Cup championships in diffrent field of sports,
honestly it's exciting and motivating for me to be more seriuos about doing exercise
or joining a sport club.

But as anybody confirm that continues motivation is not outcome of watching sport events
even great ones such as Olympics, I think it's more related to cultural and life style changes.
This is not an easy to reach goal.
It needs decades of educational and cultural activities.
Also with respect to necessity of infrastructures,
it is important to pay attention to economic indicators.

So, all in all,
along with motivational actions, we should do more actions on fundamental areas.
Every 4 years we have one great sport event and it motivate people,
but not cars can not move just with fuel, it needs the road.

Well, it was first year of university, I studied in DPNU, odd terms used to be finish in winter.
Damavand is so cold in winters.
We has two exams, one after another without interruption,
On first exams's day, it was snowy, as much as we were thinking about canceling of exam.
First one held, but at the time of come back, there were not working bus, all of drivers
were trying to turn buses on. It was best time to make fun, shooting snowBall, making snowmans.
US, early students with  heads on the clouds were playing and there were not any concern about result
of that first exam.
after 1 or 2 hours of tries, finllay buses truned on and we came back to mood of worrying about exams.
Almost all of us were talking about next day exam and complaining lack of interruption between there two exams.

Finally the bus started to go moving, but less than 2 km of passing the road, we informed that the road is blocked
by polic and it's not possible to come back to our homes.

Maybe you think I'm a superstitious person, but let me say, I was thinking to
a reason for being in university all over the day and night, it could be like a camp

It was shocking for some of students, but finally we stopped completly and informed
that we would spend the night at the university.
Yeah, It was really intersting, like an early camping or gathering, with full of
Mischief and play. and it's not necessary to mention we were seprated into two groups
We, guys were in central building and girls were in sport saloon.

You are waiting for next exam's result, I should say it had postponed to last day,
And I think I passed both of them.

Aadvantages and disadvantages of "being famous".

Approximately/Since everyone likes to be respected and paid attention,
bacause/and being famous gives/brings them more respect and more attention,
however like any other lovely things, it has its own  advantages and disadvantages.

When you are famous or one of you in your family is famous,
You get more respect and attnetion from people, and there is not need to mention that I mean about positive fame or actually being famous because of positiv thins. otherwise a serial killer is famous too :)

Famous people have a good chance, affecting public opinion, more than general people. And it's a key ability. Regardless of how it is used.
In every crisis, famous person can motivate people to help, can lead and gather social attention and movement, but don't think of a revolution :)

In other side, there are some negative things. Maybe you experienced annoying and unwanted attention.
Whether you like it or not, famous person is under contorl, in public transportation, in parties, or event it private and family gathering in a restaurant or a park. You, as a famous person should be carefull about all of your
behaviours and speaks, because you will be judge more than general people, at least
you are my favourit and you shouldn't do things that I as a society don't like them.
So, maybe can say famous person has fragile and less privacy.
Assume that you are in a personal meeting, or a date, and your fans come close to you and ask you to a sing, or a selfie. It's terrible, especially if you haven't ability of "Saying No".

In conclusion,
I think it's better to have my own privacy and have a low zoomed-in life in social eyes.
I prefer being famous as much as it needs to havein better and effecive acts and behaves in my small communities like family, colleagues, and I think it's popularity rather than famous.

It's unrepeatable and unforgotable for me.
At a hot summer's day's noon, for about 20 yeasr ago.
We had a lunch. Lunch and you don't know what the lunch!
Ley to describe that situation and details, because these are bold in my mind.

It was a gathering with all of my family members and my relatives
All of us were child or young.
Everyone was there, no one was dead.

We had AbdooghKhiar (a Persian food, includes yogourt, cucumber, water, dried bread,

In many parts of world, families were larger in the past because people had more children.
Do you think there were more advantages or disadvantages to being part of a larg family in the past?

Are you tired from so many family visiting?
Or vice versa, are you energized and so happy from these family events and visiting?
Would you like to be alone all weekend and do your own things?
Or like to be with your siblings?

Good memories of together games, challenges with your younger and/or older siblings, proud of having extended family and getting so many gifts on every birthday celebration.

I think you guest right, it's about Family Size.

What do you think and like about family size? Small or large family?

Surely everybody has her/his own reasons to choose which size to like.
There are Both positive and negative, or advantages or disadvantages points for your choice.

I want to talk about my opinion.
Maybe it's better to talk about roots and causes affecting family size in the past.
These are listed below without priority.

Factors affecting family population growth

To have workforce
To keep domination
Lack of knowledge and training
High percent of child death in early years of their life
(maybe)
To have child with favor or preferred gender (e.g: Male gender, it's related to two first items in list)
Having wealth
Polygamy (though I think it's not for all cultures)
Remarriage

Factors affecting family population decline

Living costs growth
New needs and requirement
Expanding the area of some floors of the Maslow pyramid
Cultural changes
Government policies
....

With respect to these reasons, we can have more balanced look at the family size's adv/disadvs.

When I was child, we would go to see grandmother and grandfather in the village. It would be my best times. Gathering with my relatives and their children, my cousins, would be like a festival, yes a festival. With different types of people, moods, ethics, policies, sadness and happiness.
Hamidreza, my younger uncle would be one of the most attendant person in our family. It would take a few minutes to ask him to do anything to make children happy and entertained.
In return my father, the grate son of my grandmother and grandfather was just a governor and user to handle the works.

Now, when I think, in those times there was something that I always would like to have, more siblings. Although there were not many larger family between my relatives (all of families have 3 or 4 children as we are 3 children), but I would like to have more siblings.
I think kind of support and intimacy we receive from our sibling is so different from those we receive  from our relatives.
Even different from our parents.

Let's look at family size as a Mother.
Although giving birth a baby and growing up him or her is not really easy from any aspects, but I think it's really good to have more children.
Count of children is not matter when you have good ones. I know it's really depends on many factors.
As a parent, you have chance of getting more support and care, especially when you got older.

Let's get back to the child's point of view.
If you born in a culture that leaded family to have more children, most probably you would have many relative, uncles and aunts and their children. It's really good and safe situation for any child to experience differences in human interactions without no concerned parents about situation and people.
Nowadays the chance of this experience for children is decreased. Of course there are other social units like Kindergarten that fill these type of gaps, but not real replacement.

When I want to talk about advantages about large family, my mind is on another subject, the Time.
Time, the most important and most tangible factor, we are dealing with it.
Lack of time lead human's life orientation.
I said about large family advantages, but nowadays  benefit of some advantages of having large family, sometimes is impossible or it's boring.

As a conclusion, large family has more advantages that benefit from those are not possible, like past.
Finally with respect to this fact, I prefer to having and forming a large family.
